Students in a Science Class
Basics of Science
  • Reading and trying to memorize weathering or solar system or any other science topic may not only be boring sometimes, but also may not engage a student in the learning process and developing analytical skills.

  • I incorporate real life examples and current events as much as possible while teaching a phenomena or a process.

  • I encourage my students to be interactive: brainstorm, Q&A, illustration on paper etc. This makes science fun and keeps a student engaged and interested in studying science in subsequent grades.

  • While I cannot assist my students during an experiment at school, I will discuss the overall experiment and the science involved.

  • Sessions are individualized for each student based on the short term and long term goals. Some students find that staying a little ahead of the class enables them to fully grasp the classroom teaching and ace a quiz or test.
