• High School biology is intense, especially the AP Biology course. Advanced topics are introduced that cover vast material and require attention to detail.

• Teacher’s slides may be too concise and notes taken in the class may appear sketchy over time.

• During my decade over study in the field of biological sciences, I have learnt to think of biology as a documentary on science and evolution.

• My teaching framework is to begin with the big picture of the topic at hand and then dive into details for each step or subtopic. The school textbook is used as a reference to ensure that the entire curriculum is covered and material in the textbook resonates with the tutoring sessions.

• While I cannot assist my students during the school lab, I will discuss the overall experiment and the science involved.
